Overview

Math Break is a small Solo Work Inc project that helps parents set up math-gated screen time. The app is designed to keep the child experience simple and to keep most family settings on the device.

Information We Use

Math Break may use parent account information such as an email address or sign-in identifier when authentication is enabled through Clerk, including Google sign-in if a parent chooses it. The app may also store local settings such as selected math rules, earned-time activity, cooldowns, and app-control preferences.

Screen Time Permissions

With parent permission, Math Break uses Apple Screen Time frameworks such as Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity to pause and unlock selected apps. Apple provides app and category selections through privacy-preserving tokens. Math Break uses those tokens to apply the controls parents configure.

Children's Information

Math Break is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian. Child-facing math progress and earned-time activity are used to run the app experience and are not sold.

Third-Party Services

Math Break uses Clerk for authentication. If Google sign-in is enabled, Google may process sign-in information according to Google's policies. Solo Work Inc does not sell personal information.
